Assistance Requirements

  • Must be a resident of Sulphur/Carlyss, or a transient in an emergency situation.
  • Picture Identification
  • Proof of residency
  • Proof of income for everyone in household
  • Proof of social security cards
  • Proof of all monthly bills
  • Food Stamp sheet, if applies
  • Bank and savings statements, if applies 

 

Please Note: We do not take the place of a job, food stamps, unemployment, Social Security, child support, etc. In situations that require long-term financial support, we try to make referrals to other agencies that may be able to help.

Covered in Prayer

Volunteers pray as they lovingly knit or crochet each shawl with thoughts of good things God has in store for the recipient. The prayer shawls are given out through Care Help's Social Services to clients that are going through a difficult time (losing their home, unemployed, health issues, etc.)  Prayer cards are attached to each shawl.
