For the 2024-2025 school year, parents in Calcasieu Parish will be required to purchase school supplies. To assist, Care Help will be gathering school supplies requested by teachers in West Calcasieu parish (https://www.facebook.com/share/p/o69dgbzvmkqYBZzP/) and delivering them directly to the schools at the beginning of the school year. If you would like to contribute, please put a note of which school and teacher the supplies are for and bring to Care Help during regular business hours before August 2, 2024.
In addition, Care Help will also provide the teachers with items they say they desperately need, such as disinfectant wipes, pre-sharpened pencils, and dry-erase markers.
